BROWN COLOR - represents the 27,605 hectares of land area of the city.

BLUE COLOR - represents the public and private educational institutions in Tanjay responsible in moulding the youth for future development.

RED COLOR - stands for vigor, vitality and adventurous Tanjaynons and the city's sustained growth in social, economic and political areas.

GREEN COLOR - depicts Tanjay as predominantly agricultural area.

YELLOW COLOR - represents the brave, peace-loving, united and God-fearing Tanjayanons.
