                MUNICIPALITY OF AGONO PROVINCE OF RIZAL Year Approved: 1990 SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal of Rizal where the town is located. TWO (2) STARS - symbolize the two transition periods that took place in the municipality: first, in 1766 during the Spanish period, and second, on January 1, 1939, when Agono gained complete independence pursuant to E.O.
