SHIELD - derived form the provincial seal of Nueva Ecija where the town is located.
SUN - symbolizes that nature provides favorable climate making the agricultural production a continuing activity in the municipality.
MOUNTAINS - depict the vast area of the town as pasture land rich in agricultural resources many of which are still untapped for commercial production.
TREES - stand for the wide areas of forest land producing forest products as means of livelihood of the populace particularly the orchards.
PALAY GRAINS - symbolize that the municipality is an agricultural community that rice farming and production of other farm crops are year round activities. With the municipality's wide areas of agricultural land, it is called the "Rice Granary of Nueva Ecija".
INNER AND OUTER CIRCLE - symbolize the town of Carrangalan as in integral part of the Province of Nueva Ecija since its creation as a municipality, that no other province can take any part of its territory politically and administratively.
