TREE – represents the Jidioc tree from which the name of the municipality was derived due to its abundance in the town many years back.

 

14 STARS – stand for the 14 barangays that comprise the municipality.

 

SAILBOAT – symbolizes fishing, the major occupation of the people.

 

BLUE SEA – represents the tranquility of the place.
