FISH & BOAT - symbolize the traditional means of livelihood of the residents as well as the segment of the population that still rely on the marine ecosystem for sustenance

FACTORY OR INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENT - depicts the present prominent means of livelihood in the City

CHURCH - represents the San Bartolome Church which is recognized as the seat of moral fortitude of our ancestors; also signifies the cultural and historical heritage of Malabon during the Hispanic era.

2001 - the year when the municipality of Malabon was converted into a highly Urbanized City by virtue of R.A. No. 9019
