SYMBOLISM 

SHIELD – derived from the provincial seal of Pangasinan where the town is located.

 

MODERNIZED FARMING, TOBACCO LEAVES, RICE, CORN AND SUGARCANE – symbolize that the municipality is an agricultural community.

 

EDIFICE – represents the Municipal Hall.

 

4 STARS – represents the four agricultural crops of the town: rice, tobacco, corn, and sugarcane.

 

TORCH AND BOOK – symbolize education.

 

ATHLETE – represents the sports development program of the municipality.

 

VERDANT MOUNTAINS – stand for the source of rich natural resources of the town.

 

INNER CIRCLE – represents the protective shield and aid (moral and financial) coming from  the provincial and national levels of the government.

 

GOLDEN LEAVES – symbolize the prevailing spirit of hop, tranquility and peace, which is the principle of faith of the administration.

 

CONCRETE ROAD – depicts the road to political, social and economic stability towards progress and development.
