SYMBOLISM

 

SHIELD – derived from the provincial seal of Isabela where the town is located.

 

YELLOW COLOR – symbolizes self-sufficiency among the people of San Manuel.

 

RISING SUN – stands for hope for a bountiful harvest.

 

PAIR OF WINGS – symbolizes the contribution of the municipality in the development of the nation.

 

GREEN FIELD & CARABAO – represents the vast agricultural land area of the town.

 

STALKS OF PALAY WITH 19 GRAINS – represent the primary sources of income of the town and the 19 grains represent the number of barangays.

 

CORN – depicts the secondary product of the municipality.

 

1965 – the year the town was founded.

 

BLUE COLOR – represents the loyalty of the people to the government.

 

RED COLOR – stands for the bravery of the people of San Miguel who rallied to change its name and its bad image.
