SYMBOLISM

SHIELD – derived from the provincial seal of Isabela where the town is located.

 

RISING SUN – symbolizes new hope that enlightens the on-going development of San Guillermo.

 

WHITE ROAD – stands for road network linking remote barrios to other nearby municipalities.

 

MOUNTAINS – represent parts of the municipality as rolling terrain of Sierra Madre Mountains.

 

LOGS & TREE – depict the town’s thick and virgin forest, which gives additional income to the municipality.

 

CORN & BANANA – represent the major agricultural crops, the biggest production for commercial purposes.

 

1967 – the year the municipality of San Guillermo was created by virtue of RA 4906 dated June 17, 1967.
