SHIELD – derived from the provincial seal of Pangasinan where the town is located.

 

TOBACCO LEAF – denotes the cash crop of the townspeople.

 

BLUE COLOR – represents creeks and river traversing the town; it also stands for fishery and aquamarine.

 

PALAY – stands for the main crop of the town.

 

SUN – symbolizes bright future, peace and justice.
