SYMBOLISM
SHIELD – derived from the provincial seal of Nueva Vizcaya where the town is located.
CIRCLE – symbolizes unity.
FISH AND WAVES – stand for the aquatic industry of the municipality, making it the fishing magnet of the province of Nueva Vizcaya.
THREE LAYERS OF WAVES – represent the Angadanan, Buliwao, and Magat rivers that crisscross the municipality.
CORN & RICE STALK, CITRUS AND COFFEE – represent the agricultural industry of the municipality with its valleys and plants suitable for rice, corn, citrus, vegetables and coffee producing town in the province. Quezon is the lone coffee producing town in the province.
COW HEAD & HIDE – depicts the municipality’s rich valleys and hills best for livestock and cattle raising.
HELMET, PICK & Au (CHEMICAL SYMBOL OF GOLD) – represent the mining industry of the town with rich gold deposits in barangay Run-runo, Darubba and Madiangat. They also denote gold panning, one of the sources of income of the townspeople.
TREES AND LOGS – Stand for the best lumber in the region derives from the municipality’s mountain ranges which has caused the depletion of the forest.
WATERFALLS, ELECTRIC POST, & VOLT – stand for the municipality’s rich source of power (electricity) because of its very good watershed.
