SHIELD – derived from the provincial seal of Pangasinan where the municipality belongs.

 

GEAR – symbolizes commerce and industry. The 15 sprockets symbolize the 15 barangays that comprise the municipality.

 

PANDAN PLANT – from which the municipality derived its name.

 

ITEMS SURROUNDING THE GEAR – depict the livelihood and products of the inhabitants of the municipality.
