SHIELD – derived from the provincial seal of Isabela where the town is located.

 

GREEN PADDIES – denote that agriculture is the main source of livelihood of the townspeople with agricultural products such as rice, corn, tobacco, fruits, and vegetables

 

POST AND LINTEL – symbolize structural, architectural and industrial development

 

SUN RAYS – represent the 18 barangays of the municipality

 

1953 – the year the municipality was founded.
