WHITE ARROW - indicate the fundamental principles essential to VSU's  growth, which are creativity, mutual cooperation, dynamism   and system approach in problem solving

MIDDLE CIRCLE - symbolizes humankind and its immediate environment as the main target of the University's endeavors

COLORS - Green and Yellow - the University's colors
