SYMBOLISM

 

SHIELD – derived from the provincial seal of Batangas where the town is located.

 

MAP – represents the geographical territory of the municipality.

 

1861 – the year (Balibago) San Luis was separated from the municipality of Taal; however, it was re-integrated to Taal in 1904 as its agricultural economy did not warrant self-sufficiency; San Luis became an independent town again in 1918.

 

BOAT, FISH, CATTLE (COW), HEAD, COCONUT TREES AND MANGOES – represent the major sources of livelihood of the town.

 

26 STARS – represent the 26 barangays comprising the municipality.
