SYMBOLISM

 

SHIELD – derived from the provincial seal of Nueva Vizcaya

 

SPEAR AND ARMOUR – represents the ethnic group (Ifugao) that first settled along the banks that first settled along the banks of Magat River and in the mountain areas of the municipality.

 

CATTLE AND FISH – stand for cattle raising and fishing, the main sources of living of the townspeople.

 

RICE AND CORN – symbolize the municipality as an agricultural town with rice and corn as main products.

 

LOG AND TREE – represent the major natural and mineral products of the municipality.
