SYMBOLISM
The 6th RCDU logo represents the aspiration of the citizenry, the developmental program of the government and noble mission of the military for the provinces comprising Region VI. The triad, is in line with the overall mission of the government for peace, development and reconciliation.
The blue color background represents peace and tranquility for the region as the number one mission of the people, government and the military as one.
The golden sadok and necklace symbolizes love, unity, understanding and reconciliation, for it was through these gifts that Panay was acquired by the Ilongo forefathers headed by Datu Puti from the natives headed by Marikudo without a single drop of blood. Along this laudable tradition were aspirations and dreams of the people are anchored.
The yellow circle symbolizes unity of effort and aspiration for the province with a yellow background that signifies love and reconciliation to bring about that aspirations.
The numerical number 6 represents the citizens of the region who are soldiers in time of war and an instrument of economic development in time of peace. He further signifies the dual role of the citizen to attain the national objective of peace and development.
The five stars represent the five community defense centers of the 6th Regional Community Defense Unit which administer the community Defense Activities in the region.
