SYMBOLISM
THE SPEARHEAD OF THE LOGO – the spear, main weapon of the infantry of olden times. Its sharp pointed edge cuts deep in the same way the unit operated as an agent of national security. Cutting deep to defeat the enemies of the state.
GREEN – color of the Army, the major unit wherein the battalion is attached.
RED – courage and integrity
BLACK – Enemies of the state fear the existence of this unit, as such, there is also a tint of black in the unit logo.
THREE STARS – three main regions of the country: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
RICE PLANTS – being the Central Luzon, the rice granary of the Philippines, the rice plants are also included in the logo.
ALPHA AND OMEGA – the beginning and the end.
“QUIET” AND “RIOT” – exact manifestation of the unit’s prime characteristics. Cool and calm in handling every given situation but guaranteeing that the enemy would be given a hard time if provoked to do so.
