YELLOW SHIELD – stands for mobility and loyalty of the unit. It represents the solid commitment of the unit to protect the nation and its people.

 

RED FLAME – represents the burning desire of the unit for freedom, peace and progress. Its three tongues represents the main island of the Philippines—Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

 

47 – represents the numerical number of the unit.

 

RED SHIELD – represents the integrity and unity of the unit toward the accomplishment of its mission.

 

BLACK – distinguish the bold word “Katapatan” which represents the commitment and sincerity of the unit.
