SYMBOLISM

 

BANNER – bordering around the required standard of Battalion color is “Green”. Numerical “16” in the official seal stands for “16th Infantry Battalion”. It is colored with white to imply the integrity of 16B geared towards its goal and aspiration.

 

GREEN BORDERLINE – is for the over flourishing activities in area of operation.

 

WHITE – is for the pure ideals and aspirations in the accomplishment of its mission towards achievement on national goals and objectives.

 

GREEN LAUREL – is for the Filipino heroes symbolizing for heroism in defending, securing the area of responsibility.

 

YELLOW – battalion areas of operation and background symbolizing integrity, courage and loyalty of officers and men to our country, people and flag.

 

BLACK – simply means life for the fighter and death for the enemy.

 

MODIFIED CIRCLE SHAPED – surrounding the green laurel. It means the extent of Battalion areas of operation aim at securing always its ADR.
