THREE (3) STARS - three (3) stars represent the major islands: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao

SHIELD - signifies that the unit is a ready and potent force can defend the country against foreign aggressors and detractors from within. The three colors signify the unit's capability for operating in these environments as an amphibious unit

ANCHOR - symbolizes the naval character of the Unit, that is its customs and traditions are tied closely with the Navy

RIFLE - stands for the basic firearm the Marines use to accomplish its mission

GINUNTING BLADE - stands for the bladed weapon of every marine in close combat fights, which also represents the official martial arts of the Philippine Marine Corps

CHAIN - symbolizes unity and belongingness to the mother unit, the Philippine Navy

INSCRIPTION "TAGAPAGTANGGOL" - is a unit motto and Filipino word for defender/protector, the primary function of every member of the unit

BACKGROUND COLOR - it symbolizes the Marine color courage and dauntlessness

ROPE - camaraderie and unity of this unit
