SYMBOLISM
TWENTY THREE SUNRAYS – represent the 23 barangays that comprise the municipality.
SHIELD – derived from the provincial seal of Oriental Mindoro where the Municipality of Pola belongs.
1910 – the year when Pola regained its township from Pinamalayan under Executive Order No. 31.
SEA, ROCK FORMATION, AND WATERFALL – represent the tourist sites of the municipality, the Pola Central School and its museum, Bayanan Beach, irregular coastline along Pola Bay, Tong tong Point and Calima Falls.
FISH AND PRAWN – denote that the municipality is rich in aquatic resources.
TAMARAW HEAD SILHOUETTE – represents the rare wild animal found only in the island of Mindoro.
BANANA, COCONUT, CITRUS, AND RICE STALKS – reflective of the municipality which is basically an agricultural town.
COCONUT TREES, RICE PADDIES, AND HAYSTACK – represent the major agricultural land utilization.
MOUNTAIN RANGES, ROLLING HILLS, AND PLAINS – represent the topographical area of the municipality.
