SYMBOLISM
WHOLE DESIGN INSIDE THE SHIELD – depicts a bat (a flying mammal) popularly known as “Pampaniki” in the vernacular. The old folks say that the name of the town (Paniqui) is derived from “Pampaniki”.
STALKS OF RICE GRAINS – stand for agriculture, the main source of living of the majority of the people.
SUGARCANES – depict Paniqui, Tarlac as a sugar central.
LIGHTED TORCH – symbolizes education.
WHEEL – symbolizes commerce representing various busniesses within the community.
THREE STARS – represent Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, the major islands of the Philippines.
1986 – is the year of a new beginning, not only for the Paniquenians, but also for the Filipinos.
