SYMBOLISM 

SEAL AS A WHOLE – identifies the Municipality as an agricultural town.

SALAKOT – symbolizes the Farmers and Palay, the major product of the town.

1980 – the year Laoac gained its corporate existence as a district Municipality by virtue of Batas Pambansa Blg. 18.

PLOW – at the lower portion, against a backdrop of green, symbolizes farming and fertile seeds.

YELLOW – bespeaks of the hopes for development and progress for the young Municipality.

CIRCLE – typifying the wheel towards progress and development. Blue, signifies residents as they are bound together by common desires and aspirations.
