SHIELD - derived from the seal of Quirino province
4 ILONGOT (BOLOS) SWORDS - symbolize the four major tribes or Ilongot who are the indigenous inhabitants of the municipality. It also symbolizes unity, peace and stability as a result of the Ilongot Nadiboy peace talks in the year 1967 terminating headhunting as traditional practice
RAINBOW - stands for a balanced environmental ecology
MOUNTAINS - represent Sierra Madre and Namamparang Mountain ranges, the principal source of livelihood, food, energy and shelter for the people being rich in natural resources
RIVER - represents Cagayan River winding from the municipality is the habitat of various aquatic and fish species as well as major tourist attraction due to the numerous rapids, sand bars, unpolluted crystal blue water and marvelous water and marvelous natural stone formations along its bank and vegetated with natural rain forest
DAM -signifies Casecnan trans-basin diversion project that will channel the excess water of the Cagayan River to the Pantabangan Dam Cpmplex
HORIZONTAL FIGURES - symbolizes the upland development which municipal government envision to attain for a stable and sustained upland productivity
AGRICULTURAL LAND - represents the existing flat-lands devoted to permanent agriculture
FAMILY FIGURE - signifies the people's bias objective, aimed to attain socio-economic and political well being of Nagtipunan
The logo stands for the Municipal Government;;s goal of an ecologically and economically wise, politically astute schemes of managing Nagtipunan, the upland municipality and Quirino's outdoorland.
