CIRCLE - symbolizes unity among the people of Lumban

TREE - the most prominent feature of the seal; represents "Lumbang" tree, from which the town derived its name

MOUNTAIN - symbolizes the strong will and determination of theLumbenos

1578 - the year when the town was established as civil entity

HONOREM ET DIGNITAS - Latin for "Honor and Dignity"

SCROLL - symbolizes the knowledge that is carried down from generation to generation

BARONG TAGALOG - denotes that the town is noted for its fine hand embroidered barong tagalog

SUN AND RAYS - symbolizes the bright hope of the municipality through the unity of its sixteen (16) barangays

ANVIL - stands for high quality bolos produced in the municipality

PLOW - stands for agriculture

FISH - symbolizes the rich aquatic resources of Lumban, (Lumban river, Caliraya lake and Laguna de Bay)

LIGHTNING BOLT - symbol of electricity; represents Caliraya Hydro Electric Power Plant, the first of its kind in the country

HARP - symbolizes the first academy of music in the country that was established in Lumban in 1606

MONSTRANCE - symbolizes the first ever exposition of the Holy Eucharist outside Manila; Lumban was the cradle of Christianity in Laguna; and the first stone church built outside Manila

LAGUNA COPPER PLATE - represents the country's earliest known written documents found in Lumban River, an evidence of ancient Filipino and Lumbeno civilization
