CIRCLE - represents unity among the people of Lagonoy

SHIELD - derived from the Provincial seal of Camarines Sur where the municipality of Lagonoy is located

RICE LAND - represents the agricultural output and main source of income of the majority of Lagonoyon

ABACA - which grows in abundance in the fertile soil of the mountainous area, making Lagonoy one of the biggest abaca producers of the province

HELMET AND PICK - represent the mining industry of the municipality

TREES AND LOGS - represent the logging industry of the municipality

COCONUT - represents the tree of life which was planted in a vast area of the municipality

BUILDING, CHURCH AND HOUSE - represent the three components of the municipality, the local government, religious sector and the community

FISH AND SEA - represent the fishing industry, which sustains the whole municipality and the municipality's numerous marine resources, which provide a mode of transportation for the east and north coastal populace

"SAMHOD" (SOFT BROOM) - denotes that the municipality of Lagonoy, Camarines Sur is known as the home of the largest "Samhod" (soft broom), and the yearly celebration of the town fiesta is also called "Samhod Festival". Soft broom making is one of the key industries of this municipality
