SHIELD - derived from the seal of the province Cavite where the municipality belongs. It represents the protection of the municipality of Gen. Mariano Alvarez namely BP Blg. 76 and the Local Government Code of 1991 (R.A. 7670) local ordinances passed by the municipality for the protection of all it constituents

CIRCLE - symbolizes strength, unity and aspiration of the people of the municipality. Inscribed in it is the name of the municipality and the province where it belongs

TEN (10) HOUSES - represent the ten (10) barangays of the municipality officially established in 1981

MARCH 14, 1981 - is when the municipality officially became a municipality by virtue of Batas Pambansa Bilang 76 approved June 30,1980

TWENTY SEVEN (27) MAN TEAM - symbolize the existing 27 barangays of the municipality their respective barangay captains who despite their differences show cooperation and teamwork as they hold their hands together

INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS - showcase the main desire of the municipal officials for an industrialized ang commercialized community

COLORS RED, WHITE, BLUE, YELLOW AND THREE (3) STARS IN A TRIANGLE - have the same interpretation with the colors of our National Flag
