MARCH 14, 1981 - is when the municipality officially became a municipality by virtue of Batas Pambansa Bilang 76 approved June 30,1980
TWENTY SEVEN (27) MAN TEAM - symbolize the existing 27 barangays of the municipality their respective barangay captains who despite their differences show cooperation and teamwork as they hold their hands together
