SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal of the Mountain Province where the town is located

FIVE (5) STARS - represent the five (5) Sub-provinces of the Mountain Province

LILIES - represent the abundance of mountain lilies, as well as the other flowers being cultivated in the place for private and commercial purposes

SPEAR & AXE - represent the tribal weapons customarily used and still being utilized by the inhabitants of the place

COLOR BLUE - symbolizes the presence of silver mines in the area

COLOR GREEN - stands for the vast agricultural products, which is one of the main sources ; of livelihood of its inhabitants

COLOR YELLOW - symbolizes the presence of gold mines in the area
