SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal of Ifugao where the town is located

CATTLE HEAD - symbolizes that the municipality is one of the cattle raising municipalities in the province with wide pasture land owned by local residents and even from Isabela province

FISHES - denote fishing as the new income generating project of southem Alfonso Lista

RICEFIELD - represents rice farming activity that makes the eastern portion of the municipality as its rice granary

CORN - depicts the town as a fertile valley wherein corn is the major crop planted by the farmers as evidenced by volume of metric tons of corn produce transported to feed millers

WOOD MALLET - represents the object used during session by the Sangguniang Bayan, the law making body of the municipality
