THREE (3) STARS - represents the three (3) major islands: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao

STEERING WHEEL, ANCHOR - depicts naval service as boat training/handling is undertaken by the Navy

"COMBAT AND SERVICE SUPPORT BRIGADE" - represents the mother unit of the Inshore Boat Battalion

BOAT WITH ONE (1) MARINE FIRETEAM - stands for the Seaborne Force capable of combat support against lawless elements anywhere in any type of body of water. A water-borne force quick to respond to administrative service and tactical support requirements of the battalions deployed in the hinterlands

GREEN - symbolizes forest and thick underbush where marine units operate

BLUE - represents coastlines, rivers, lakes and tributaries where the Inshore Boat Battalion operates
