STARS - the sixteen (16) stars represent the number of barangay zones which comprises the City of Caloocan

LAUREL LEAVES - the left laurel branch represents the City's District I while the right laurel branch is District II. The fourteen (14) laurel leaves represent the mandate of the twelve (12) members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, the Vice Mayor and the Presiding Officer, and the City Mayor

SUN - depicts the renewed hope for the City of Caloocan in realizing true and genuine reforms under its leadership

MONUMENT - portray the Bonifacio Monument which is both a symbol of heritage and a historical treasure of the City.  It represents courage, bravery, heroism and martyrdom of Caloocaños as exemplified by Andres Bonifacio

1962 - stands for the foundation of the City on February 16, 1962 by virtue of Republic Act No. 3278 otherwise known as "Charter of the City of Caloocan".

COLORS - derived from the colors of the Philippine flag (white, blue, red and golden yellow)
