DOVE - represents the peace-loving people of Marinduque. Marinduque is considered as one of the most peaceful provinces in the Philippines

CROWN - depicts the Putong or Tubong ceremony, a traditional welcoming ritual that is unique of Marinduque culture. Roughly translated as "the crowning", it is held with high mirth and colorful performance of song and dance

STARS - the six (6) stars represent the number of component municipalities that make up the Province of Marinduque

MAP AND HEART - depict the map of the Province which is in the shape of a heart They also suggest the geographical location of the Province, being in the center of the Philippine archipelago

PROVINCIAL SHIELD - symbolizes protection
