CROSS - stands for the strong faith and belief of the townspeople to God and to the Holy Name of the Municipality of Santa Cruz

SUN - for strength and prosperity symbolizing the historical participation of the people of Santa Cruz, when the province of Laguna and seven other provinces revolted against Spanish invaders

BLUE COLOR - symbolizes peace, purity and great love for mother country

RED COLOR - symbolizes readiness, heroism and braveness of the townspeople in answering to the call of mother country

FARMER, CARABAO & RICEFIELDS - depict farming industry

COCONUT TREES, FRUITS & WORKER - depict the coconut industry

FISHERMAN & FISHES - stand for the fishing industry

WHITE CHEESE (KESONG PUTI) - the most famous product of the municipality derived from carabaos milk

1602 - year the municipality was founded
