SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal of Laguna where the town is located

EIGHT (8) STARS - represent the eight (8) barangays comprising the municipality

TWO (2) HANDS - symbolize the hands of God showing the Godliness of the constituents believing that all the graces come from Almighty God

SUN AND SUN RAYS -  symbolize hope

MOUNTAINS - represent vast plantation of various crops which are the sources of natural wealth

RICEFIELDS - symbolize that the municipality is an agricultural town because of the vast lands that the farmers cultivate where they derive their harvests

WATER - symbolizes the springs, falls, lakes and rivers abundantly found in Pangil

WAVES - represent Laguna Lake, a part of which is occupied by the municipality

FISH - represents the aquatic resources derived from the lakes and rivers

PLOW - denotes that the townspeople are industrious and persevering
