BLUE WATER - surrounding the islands, represents fishing and salt production as the major industries in the town. Farming is secondary in the locality

YELLOW HAND-CLASPED PEOPLE ENCIRCLING THE ISLANDS - characterize the sincere, closely-knit and God-loving families living in the nine barangays of the town

BLUE CIRCULAR ROPE - symbolizes the peacefulness, strength and solidarity of the townsfolk
