SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal of Quezon where the town is located
The seal of the Municipality describes its four (4) major sources of livelihood namely:
a) Coconut industry
b) Marine Products and Fishing industry
c) Forest products from its vast natural resources
d) Farming industry since this is an agricultural area
1949 - symbolizes the year of creation of Gen. Nakar, Quezon into an independent Municipality by virtue of Executive Order no. 249 dated July 21, 1949 of the Late President Elpidio Quirino
COLOR SYMBOLISM:
GREEN - represents light and hope for future and advancement of the community
YELLOW - stands for recognition of the present Government
BLUE - indicates peace and goodwill in the heart of the people
