21 LEAVES AND CLASPED HANDS - represent the 21 united barangays working together for common goal

SYMBOL OF COMMERCE - signifies the principal means of livelihood of the townspeople—agriculture, fishing and bread-making

1876 - the year when the municipality of Cuenca was founded
