CIRCLE - symbolizes the main rotor head that stands the ring of life

ANCHOR - the official symbol of Philippine Navy

WINGS - represent the air assets, the capabilities of the Unit, efficiency and effectiveness in the accomplishment of its assigned mission/task

ROPE - symbolizes the never ending attachment and commitment of the squadron to Headquarters Naval Air Group (HNAG) in particular and Philippine Navy (PN) in general

MH-40 NAVAL AIR SQUADRON - the title of the Unit, M Stands for Multi-engine; H stands for helo and 40—the designated number of the Naval Air Squadron


COLOR SYMBOLISM

YELLOW - represents the number one main rotor blade

ORANGE - the international color code foe emergency, search and rescue, the main task of Rotary Wing Squadron to include maritime patrol

BLUE - the third main rotor blade of the helicopter

RED - the fourth main rotor blade of the helicopter

WHITE - represents the squadron's dedication to duty
