The equilateral triangular logo of the Local Government Academy (LGA), or simply known as the LGA triangle, prominently embodies the LGA acronym in blue set against a yellow background. Its three (3) equiangular angles stand for enhanced knowledge, skills and attitudes of its mandated clients, namely, the local government officials and functionaries, and the DILG personnel who strive to achieve through various human resource development interventions. The whole triangle that securely rests on its base stands for the country's stability and strength grounded on strong foundation of good governance and the synergy that springs from the realization of innovative practices and citizens participation, among others. The primary colors of blue for the acronym, and yellow as background, stand for enlightenment and wisdom, respectively, for those who seriously profit from LGA training and seminar interventions. The arrow formed by the angle pointing upward stands for the continuing pursuit of excellence in local governance, growth and progress, where LGA is a committed and active exponent among various key partners at the local, national and international levels.
