At the center of the seal is the sun with its eight rays unfolding the epic struggle of the country's eight provinces for truth and freedom from the hands of the colonizers; the historic saga of our forebears to deliver the Filipinos from becoming slaves to alien ideologies; also, symbolic of an enlightened Juan dela Cruz who realized the significance of living independently and growing up as one, strong nation
The quill pen with the scribbled word "Veritas" stands for our never-ending goal of letting the public know. the truth "for only in knowing what is true can we achieve success and identity"; its sincerity and fairness in imparting knowledge to the Filipino masses. It speaks of our efforts to keep our fellow Filipinos abreast of the national goals and objectives, to rally them behind the cause of unity and the need to hang on to a very native ideology. The quill writing instrument also stands for flexibility, softness in heart, lightness and ability which epitomizes the virtues of the men and women tasked in the conduct of the motivation and enlightenment program
The green circular background denotes the Army's exceedingly broad missions, fair and vigorous stand for national stability and development
