PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE

TRAFGROUP- coined from the name of the organization Traffic Management Group that is one of the National Operational Support Units of the Philippine National Police. ( A position paper was submitted to rename the unit back to its original name "HIGHWAY PATROL GROUP")

TRIANGLE- the three (3) sides correspond to the strategic Concepts (3Es) of the TMG Mission which are Traffic Safety Education Police Traffic Engineering and Traffic Law Enforcement

SAFETY- expresses the first and foremost mission of the unit, which is to promote traffic safety on the road

SWORD- symbolizes the authority vested upon the unit in the implementation of all laws relative to traffic management.

BALANCE- "Law enforcement without fear or favor" It denotes the just and fair decision making of the unit in line with the authority being exercised.

LIGHTNING- indicates the fast and speedy response to anything that needs the assistance/attention of the unit

MOBILE CAR & MOTORCYCLE- represent the forces of the TMG in the performance of its functions towards the accomplishment of its mission. they referred to as the "GUARDIANS OF THE HIGHWAY"

LAUREL LEAVES- symbolizes the competency, brilliance and honor in the field of endeavor expected from each and every member of the TMG

RED CIRCLE- encompassing the whole logo, it represents the unending commitment of the unit towards the accomplishment of the mission.

COLORS

RED- Bravery, Strength and Nobleness
GREEN- Honor, Pleasure and Youth
WHITE- Pure action and perfection
GOLD- Truth, Richness and Full of Version
BLACK- Serious Attitude
