BLUE CIRCLE - represents the universe where we belong as a nation and as an organization while the blue shade represents the international color of the police uniform.
TEN (10) STARS - represent the ten (10) provinces of the Southern Tagalog Region.
PNP SHIELD - represents the police organization, the mother unit, where PRO 4 belongs.
NUMBER 4 - symbolizes the Police Regional Office that has jurisdiction over the Southern Tagalog Region.
SERVE AND PROTECT - is the motto of PRO 4 which bespeaks of the mission of the Office and that of its commitment to provide the best public service and protection possible to the populace in this part of the country.
COCONUT TREE - stands for the major agricultural product for which Southern Tagalog Region is noted for.
FACTORY BUILDING - represents the growing industrialization in the region, more particularly in the CALABARZON provinces which had become the hub of industrial activities, having been declared as the centerpiece for economic growth under the vision for Philippines 2000.
MOUNTAINS - represent the wealth of natural resources that abound in the Southern Tagalog Region which can be tapped for further economic development.
BLUE SKY - symbolizes the region's tranquility which is necessary in bringing about the continued economic development for progress and prosperity of the region and the country in general represent teamwork and harmony existing in Region 4.
5 BIRDS IN FLIGHT - among the five pillars of the criminal justice system; it is fact that birds help each other by creating an uplift for those behind which enable them to reach far places; by making the five pillars of criminal justice system move on the thrust of one another, teamwork for better performance is encouraged to enable PRO 4 to reach far and wide in the programs for peace and order and to keep vigilant and alert in the whole region, thus providing the necessary atmosphere conducive to programs and economic growth.
