CONCENTRIC HAWSERS - denote the continuity of the Fleet and the solidarity and interdependence of her different Forces and Groups, all concentrated on the Navy's mission.

SEA HORSE - connotes the adaptability of the Philippine Fleet in the face of great difficulties.

ANCHOR - symbolizes the naval service, with all the richness of its maritime tradition.

PHILIPPINE MAP - stands for the wide reach of the Philippine Fleet, which can project its power throughout the archipelago.

TWO (2) STARS - symbolize the twin thrusts of the Philippine Navy modernization and instilling a culture of maintenance.

COLOR SYMBOLISM

BLUE - denotes military professionalism in the Philippine Fleet and peace as the goal of the Philippine Navy.

BROWN - represents the dignity of labor and the diligence required in establishing a culture of maintenance, hence, it is the color of the concentric hawsers.

GOLD - denotes the level of excellence which the Philippine Fleet intends to attain through the twin thrusts of modernization and instilling culture of maintenance, as well as nationalism which is prevalent throughout the nation.

GRAY - stands for the resiliency and hardiness which are required of the officers and men in the Fleet for them to endure the hardships at sea.

WHITE - denotes the uprightness and righteousness of the military service and dignity of naval.
