FIVE (5) RAYS- represent the five (5) districts of Metropolitan Manila.

PNP- Stands for Philippine National Police

NCR COMMAND- Denotes the National Capital Regional Command

THREE (3) STARS- Represent the three (3) islands of the Philippine archipelago namely: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao

38 SAMPAGUITA LEAVES (divided equally into 19 leaves at each side)- Represent the 38 Police Stations located in the whole NCRC

1967- Denotes the birth of CAPCOM/Metropolitan Police Force (MPF), the origin of NCRC

Yellow        -Represents adherence to democracy
Green        -Stands for sampaguita leaves
Black         -PNP NCR Command letters
RED, WHITE & BLUE      -denote colors of the Philippine National flag
