NATIONAL COAT-OF-ARMS - represent the country and the people this squadron has dedicated to serve. In addition, the five (5) points of the coat-of-arms also represent the five (5) major branches of the squadron namely: the Flight School, the Maintenance School, the Safety School, the Air Warfare School and the Doctrine Development Branch
SKY BLUE COLOR - represents the color of the sky, in pursuit of “Naval Service with Sky as the Limit”, the Naval Air Group’s motto
“TOWARDS EXCELLENCE” - the Squadron’s vision of providing training excellence
THREE COLORED TORCH - represents the three (3) sister squadrons of NATS in Naval Air Group namely: the MH-40-NAS (orange), MF-30-NAS (blue) and GSS (green)
ETERNAL FLAME OF KNOWLEDGE - the guiding light that empowers the unit’s officers and men through education and training
NAVAL AVIATION WINGS - represent the mother unit of the squadron, the Naval Air Group, whose officers and men the squadron is dedicated to train
50 - the squadron’s designated unit number
YELLOW SCROLL WITH INSCRIPTION "NAVAL AVIATION TRAINING SQUADRON" - depicts the squadron color and the unit designation of the squadron
