SHIELD - derived form the provincial seal of Oriental Mindoro where the town is located.

CIRCULAR SHAPE - symbolizes the wheel of life that keeps on rolling everyday in the municipality.

THIRTY-TWO (32) SUN RAYS - represent the thirty two (32) barangays; the sun symbolizes progress and high hopes for the future.

BASKET FULL OF BOUNTIES - represent agriculture where the municipality derives its income.

WAVES AND FISH - represent the "Nauhan Lake" which is famous for fish species known as "Banak".

1953 - the year the municipality was created.
