SHIELD - derived form the provincial seal of Isabela where the town is located.

TWO (2) CIRCLES - symbolize the binding together of different ethnic and cultural groups working harmoniously towards the development of the community.

1751 - the year the municipality was founded.

STAR - represents Tumauini as the "shining star of the north", indicative of star qualities, lofty ideals and grand ambitions.

SUN RAYS - symbolize the municipality's ever-desirable blessings of love, peace, justice, freedom and program.
