SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal Palawan where the town is located.

PORT - inside a green circle at the center of the shield, stands for a Spanish fort, a historical landmark in the municipality.

BIRD - flying bird known as "Balinsasayaw" signifying edible bird's nest as a major natural resource of the town.

FISH AND PLOW - stand for fishing and agriculture as a major resources of the municipality.

RED, WHITE AND BLUE - derived from our national color.
