SHIELD - derived form the provincial seal of Camarines
Norte where the town is located.
1908 - represents the year Municipality of
Talisay was founded.
RICE - the first sectoral area comprises fifty
percent (50%) of the farming activity devoted to rice production. Talisay,
being a rice producing locality, where most of the family income is attributed
to rice production, best explained why rice farming was given a large part,
almost half in fact, of the municipal seal.
COCONUT - the second sectoral
area comprises twenty five percent (25%) is for coconut, root crop, fruits and
vegetable production which are mostly found in upland barangays.
FISH - the third sectoral area comprises
twenty five percent (25%) is devoted to fishing which came the major occupation
of the four (4) coastal barangays of the municipality.
