1572 - year when the town was founded

THREE (3) STARS - represent the three (3) major islands of the Philippines: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao

RED, WHITE AND BLUE COLOR - represent the colors of the Philippine Flag

CHURCH - depicts the "Basilica de San Martin de Tours", symbol of the town's historical rootage as one of the oldest town in the country

SHIRT - symbolizes the "Barong Tagalog", symbol of the Filipinism and love of tradition and culture, as barongs are originally handcrafted in Taal

FAN KNIFE (BALISONG) and BOLO (GULOK) - stand for Taaleños courage and firm determination for righteous principles.
